Abstract:
This coating-forming composition includes: component (A), namely a mixture of coating-forming components including, in a mass ratio of (A-1):(A-2)=1:1.1 to 1:4.9, component (A-1), namely a hydrolyzable group-containing silicone oligomer having a kinematic viscosity at 25˚C of 10 mm2s-1 or lower, and component (A-2), namely a reactive silicone oil having, at one terminal, a functional group selected from the group consisting of a mercapto group, an amino group, and a monocarbinol group (in instances when the reactive silicone oil has the monocarbinol group at the one terminal, the functional group equivalent amount is 4500 g/mol or lower); component (B), namely a hydrolysis catalyst; and component (C), namely an organic solvent. The coating-forming composition includes 100-2000 parts by mass of component (C) per 100 parts by mass of component (A). The coating-forming composition is capable of forming a coating exhibiting both planing properties and durability (planing properties after abrasion).
