Abstract:
Provided are: a coating material which enables the formation of a coating film having excellent adhesion to a base material and also having excellent strength (e.g., weather resistance, water resistance, durability), staining resistance and heat-shielding properties; and a coated body provided with a coating film made from the coating material.
The coating material according to the present invention is characterized by comprising polymer particles (A), heat-shielding particles (B) and a liquid medium (C), wherein the ratio (Da/Db) of the average particle diameter (Da) of the polymer particles (A) to the average particle diameter (Db) of the heat-shielding particles (B) falls within the range from 0.02 to 2.
