Abstract:
This coating material feedstock for a secondary battery separator includes core-shell particles, each comprising: a core layer that includes a first polymer; and a shell layer that covers the first polymer and includes a second polymer. The first polymer has a repeating unit derived from an alkyl (meth)acrylate ester. The second polymer has 40-97 mass% of a repeating unit derived from (meth)acrylamide and 3-60 mass% of a repeating unit derived from a carboxy group-containing vinyl monomer. The ratio of the second polymer to the first polymer is 4-250.
