Abstract:
Provided is a coating stripping device with which an insulating coating on an electrical wire or the like suspended in the air can be stripped off safety and with good operating efficiency by means of a remote operation from the ground or a work vehicle. The coating stripping device is characterized in that a rotary disc of a rotary driving tool comprises a first rotary disc having a protruding part, a second holding member of a coating stripper has a blade, when the coating stripper in the released state is attached to a second rotary disc and the first rotary disc is rotated in a prescribed direction the blade contacts the protruding part, thereby achieving a holding state, and when the coating stripper is in the holding state and the first rotary disc is rotated in the opposite direction from the prescribed direction the blade contacts the protruding part, thereby achieving the released state.
