Abstract:
In a coaxial cable, a dielectric material, an external conductor and an external coat are successively formed to cover an outer circumference of an internal conductor, and a connecting section for connecting to a wiring board whereupon a plurality of through holes are formed is provided. The connecting section includes a first connector pin which is connected to the internal conductor and inserted into the through hole; and a second connector pin which is connected to the external conductor and inserted into the through hole. The first and second connector pins have a hollow structure composed of a cylindrical metal conductor having a substantially C-shaped cross-section, and a hollow section close to the base of the hollow structure is filled with a resin, and furthermore, the leading end of the connector pin is tapered. Thus, the coaxial cable is surely connected and held to the wiring board even solder bonding is not performed, and the coaxial cable can be easily mounted on and removed from the wiring board.
