Abstract:
Provided are: a coaxial cable provided with a novel extruded insulation layer having a high void content, even when the insulation layer is too thin for high-foaming foaming extrusion to be performed without complications; and a medical cable in which the coaxial cable is used. The coaxial cable 10 has: a center conductor 1; an extruded sheathing layer 2 provided on the outer periphery of the center conductor 1, the extruded sheathing layer 2 having melt fractures on the surface; and a tube-shaped sheathing layer 3 provided directly on the extruded sheathing layer 2. Voids 6 are formed between the extruded sheathing layer 2 and the coating layer 3.
