Abstract:
The invention discloses a coaxial electrodeless lamp comprising: a magnetron(2)
for generating microwave with an antenna(6), a light-reflecting cavity (3)
connected with the magnetron(2). The antenna(6) locates in the light-reflecting
cavity (3). A flange(4) is installed at the opening of the cavity (3) and a metal
screen(5) is fastened to the flange(4).The light-reflecting cavity(3),the
flange(4) and the metal screen(5) form a microwave cavity and a electrodeless
bulb(1) is installed in the microwave cavity. The microwave cavity is a coaxial
cavity. The electrodeless bulb(1) acts as the inner conductor of the coaxial
cavity and the light-reflecting cavity (3) acts as the outer conductor separately.
The electrodeless bulb(1) is coaxial and maintains a proper distance to the antenna(6).
The metal screen(5) serves as the short-circuit surface of the coaxial cavity
at the terminal of coaxial line(10). The impedance of the microwave system can
be matched perfectly through adjusting the distance of the antenna(6), the electrodeless
bulb(1) and the metal screen(5), and increasing the diameter of the light-reflecting
cavity (3).
