Abstract:
This coaxial to waveguide converter includes: a waveguide having a cross-section that is formed into a rectangular shape by a pair of opposing first and second narrow walls and a pair of opposing first and second wide walls; a first metal structure extending, in the waveguide, from the first narrow wall toward the second narrow wall side and a second metal structure extending, in the waveguide, from the second narrow wall toward the first narrow wall side; and a signal line penetrating the first narrow wall and the first metal structure, an end of the signal line protruding into the waveguide. A first end face of the first metal structure and a second end face of the second metal structure oppose each other across a gap and are inclined in the same direction. The end of the signal line opposes the second end face, between the first end face and the second end face.
