Abstract:

Provided are a coding method and device, the method comprising: acquiring a sequence to be encoded having a length of N, said sequence being obtained after placing information bits at information bit positions, placing frozen bits at frozen bit positions, and placing first preset bits at a plurality of formed bit positions in a first position sequence; after undergoing polarization coding, the bits corresponding to the plurality of formed bit positions belong to a plurality of different internal code sub-codes, and undergoing after polarization coding, formed bit positions of corresponding bits that belong to the same internal code sub-code belong to the same group of formed bit positions (S501); performing outer code coding on said sequence to obtain a first outer code sequence having a length of N (S502); according to the first outer code sequence, acquiring in parallel a plurality of first outer code codeword bits corresponding to a plurality of constituent bit positions (S503); on the basis of the first outer code sequence and the plurality of first outer code codeword bits, acquiring a target outer code sequence (S504); and internally encoding the target outer code sequence to obtain and output an encoded sequence (S505). The encoding latency of a PAS can be reduced.
