Abstract:
The present invention relates to a coherent and polarization fading suppression method for synchronous monitoring of loss and vibration. When only a common single-mode sensing optical fiber is used, the conflict of a Φ-OTDR and a COTDR on a polarization state problem is solved on the basis of a polarization diversity measurement method. In addition, for loss parameter monitoring, not only can a better coherent fading noise suppression effect be obtained, but also the recognition capability of a small-loss event can be enhanced. Furthermore, for disturbance parameter monitoring, the influence of coherent fading on phase demodulation of the Φ-OTDR can be suppressed, and a vibration signal can be reconstructed in a high-fidelity manner, so that a false alarm rate of external disturbance early warning is effectively reduced.
