Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a coil component (100) including a first coil (L1) and a second coil (L2), wherein: the coil component (100) comprises an insulator (3) on which the first coil (L1) and the second coil (L2) are disposed, and a plurality of electrodes (4a-4c) provided to the insulator (3); the insulator (3) has a pair of main surfaces that face mutually opposite directions, and a plurality of side surfaces that link the pair of main surfaces together; the plurality of side surfaces include a first side surface, a second side surface, and a third side surface; the plurality of electrodes include a first electrode (4a) provided to the first side surface, a second electrode (4b) provided to the second side surface, and a third electrode (4c) provided to the third side surface; the first coil (L1) and the second coil (L2) are arranged such that winding axes thereof face toward a direction normal to the pair of main surfaces; openings in each of the first coil (L1) and the second coil (L2) at least partially overlap one another and are magnetically coupled; a first end part (91) of the first coil (L1) is connected to the first electrode (4a); a first end part (92) of the second coil (L2) is connected to the second electrode (4b); and a second end part (93a) of the first coil (L1) and a second end part (93b) of the second coil (L2) are connected by the third electrode (4c).
