Abstract:
Disclosed is a coil component (1) comprising a winding member (2) and at least one winding (4, 5) of a wire (6, 7); the winding (4, 5) has at least one turn (10, 11) of the wire (6, 7) about the winding member (2), the geometry of the turn (10, 11) allowing the turn (10, 11) to rotate about the winding member (2). Also disclosed is a method for manufacturing a winding of a coil component (1). The coil component (1) comprises at least one connecting element (21, 22, 23, 24) that protrudes from a main shape of the winding (4, 5).
