Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide a coil component such that the occurrence of a break in a wire can be suppressed, and a production method therefor. A coil component (10) comprises a pin (16a) and a conductor wire (14) constituting a coil and is characterized in that: one extremity of the conductor wire (14) is wound helically around the pin (16a); a wound portion (14b), whereby the conductor wire (14) is wound around the pin (16a), contains an immobilized portion (24a) spanning a predetermined range from a frontal extremity of the conductor wire (14), and a non-immobilized portion (24b) wherefrom the immobilized portion (24a) is excluded; the immobilized portion (24a) is immobilized against the pin (16a) with solder; and the non-immobilized portion (24b) is not attached to the pin (16a).
