Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a coil line system in which a looper can be made as shallow as possible, and to provide its control method. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The coil line system comprises an uncoiler (2) and a leveler (4) each having a servo motor as a drive source for feeding a plate material b continuously, a looper (5) having means (c1, c2) for detecting slack quantity of the plate material b, a feeder (6) having a servo motor as a drive source for feeding the plate material b intermittently, a servo press P, and a control means C performing cooperation control of synchronized press work by means of the press P and intermittent feeding of the plate material b by means of the feeder (6), and continuous feed of the plate material b by means of the leveler (4) and the uncoiler (2) in accordance with detection signals from the slack detecting means (c1, c2) indicative of slack quantity of the plate material b and restricting slack quantity of the plate material b in the looper (5) to within a predetermined range.
