Abstract:

A coin handling device is characterized by being provided with a receiving unit for receiving an inserted coin, an identification unit for identifying the coin received by the receiving unit, a housing unit comprising plural cassettes for housing the coin identified by the identification unit, a coin guiding unit for guiding the coin identified by the identification unit to any of the plural cassettes, a storage unit for storing plural coin housing patterns of the plural cassettes, a selection unit for selecting a specific housing pattern from among the plural housing patterns, and a control unit for controlling the coin guiding unit such that the coin identified by the identification unit is housed in a cassette corresponding thereto so as to correspond to the selected specific housing pattern when the housing pattern is selected by the selection unit from among the plural housing patterns stored in the storage unit.
