Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to enhance user convenience and sales opportunities for coin-operated lockers. In a coin-operated locker system according to the present invention, a coin-operated locker, a management server, and a program comprised by a user terminal are connected over a network. The management server comprises: a distribution means for distributing box-locker-availability information to the user terminal; a payment means for paying a usage fee for a box locker on the basis of payment information transmitted from the user terminal; a control means for controlling the locking and unlocking of the box locker; and a notification means for communicating unlock-key information. When the usage fee payment for a given box locker is completed, the control means performs locking on the given box locker and the notification means communicates the unlock-key information for the given box locker to the user terminal that completed the payment. When the unlock-key information is inputted into an input device, the coin-operated locker unlocks the given locked box locker.
