Abstract:
In the present invention, the following are provided: a coin sorting gate 31 that is disposed on the downstream side of a discrimination passage 21 through which inserted coins pass and in which the authenticity of the coins is discriminated using a discrimination sensor 22, in an oscillatable manner, in a configuration where the coins which have passed through the discrimination passage 21 are guided to either an authentic coin passage R1 or a counterfeit coin passage R2; and a coin sorting lever 32 that is connected to the coin sorting gate 31 and disposed so as to be slidable between a first position and a second position, and in a normal state, in the first position, puts the coin sorting gate 31 into a first posture, and if the lever has slid to the second position, puts the coin sorting gate 31 into a second posture. A prevention claw 323 is integrally provided to the coin sorting lever 32 and, in a case where the coin sorting lever 32 is in the first position, advances into the authentic coin passage R1, and in a case where the coin sorting lever 32 has slid to the second position, retracts from the authentic coin passage R1.
