Abstract:
[Problem] To make it possible to improve the ease of operation for inserting and taking out a coin roll. [Solution] A coin-roll storage device provided with: a coin-roll tray having columns of coin-roll storage spaces formed along a prescribed direction; and a coin-roll detection substrate provided along the prescribed direction so as to face side faces of individual coin rolls stored in the columns of coin-roll storage spaces, wherein the coin-roll detection substrate has sensors at positions corresponding to the individual coin-roll storage spaces included in the columns of coin-roll storage spaces, the output of each of the sensors changing depending on whether or not a coin roll is present, each of the coin-roll storage spaces has a first side wall, which is located on the side on which the coin-roll storage space is provided, a second side wall, which faces the first side wall, and a bottom face, and the second side wall has a slope section and a vertical section, the slope section having a slope in a direction in which the distance from the first side wall increases toward an insertion/withdrawal slot through which the coin roll is inserted/withdrawn in the coin-roll storage space, and the vertical section being formed between the slope section and the bottom face.
