Abstract:
This coin-shaped battery is provided with: a case which has a bottom plate part and a lateral part that stands on the periphery of the bottom plate part; a sealing plate which has a top plate part and a peripheral part that extends from the top plate part to the inside of the lateral part; a gasket which is interposed between the lateral part and the peripheral part in a compressed state; and a power generation element which is hermetically sealed by means of the case and the sealing plate. At least one of the case and the sealing plate is provided with: a first metal layer that is arranged on the outer surface side; and a second metal layer that is arranged closer to the inner surface than the first metal layer. The first metal layer contains at least one element selected from the group consisting of aluminum and magnesium.
