Abstract:
According to the present invention, the disclosed cold protection skirt for equestrianism comprises: a body made of a material for protection against the cold, the upper and lower portions of which are open, which has a space defined therein so as to be worn on the waist of a user, and which has coupling means provided in the lengthwise direction at the center of the front and of the back thereof so as to open the space therein by unfastening the coupling means in order to partially expose the lower body of the user; and a pair of fixing lines, one end of each of which is coupled to either side of the inner surface of the body, respectively, so as to tightly fix said body to the body of the user by means of coupling the opposite ends of the fixing lines when the coupling means is unfastened. Accordingly, when riding a horse, the coupling means provided on the body can be unfastened to separate said body onto each side of the lower body of the user, and the fixing lines provided on each inner side of said body can be used to fix, on the lower body of the user, said body which is disposed at either side of the lower body of the user, thereby enclosing the lower body of the user, in particular the thighs, so as to keep the lower body of the user warm without impeding the movement of the user.
