Provided is a cold rolled steel sheet that has a remarkably reduced friction coefficient between a steel sheet and a mold or the like and therefore has excellent press moldability. In the cold rolled steel sheet having a coating film, an organic resin in the coating film comprises at least one component selected from the group consisting of a copolymer of styrene and maleic acid, a copolymer of styrene and maleic anhydride and salts of a copolymer of styrene and maleic acid, a wax in the coating film comprises a polyolefin wax having a melting point of 120°C to 140°C inclusive and an average particle diameter of 0.01 μm to 3.00 μm inclusive, the content of the polyolefin wax relative to the total amount of the organic resin and the wax is within a predetermined range, and the relationship between the amount W (g/m2) of the coating film attached to one surface of the steel sheet and the arithmetic average roughness Ra (μm) of a base iron surface of the cold rolled steel sheet satisfy a predetermined range.
