Abstract:
The present invention provides a cold rolling method in which it is possible to prevent the occurrence of wrinkles during cold rolling without requiring modification of a rolling mill. Provided is a cold rolling method for rolling a steel sheet through a plurality of rolling passes using a cold rolling mill, wherein if the steel sheet unit tension N1 during steady rolling exceeds a standard unit tension N0 calculated according to formula (1) in a specific rolling pass in which the target sheet thickness t0 on the rolling pass exit side is equal to or less than a standard sheet thickness, the steel sheet unit tension N2 in the initial stage of rolling on the entry side of the specific rolling pass is controlled to be less than the standard unit tension N0 and also less than the steel sheet unit tension N1 during steady rolling.
