Abstract:
Provided are a collaborative work system, a communication control method, and a communication control program, with which a relay server can be set suitably and collaborative work can be promoted efficiently in a system wherein a server and multiple terminals are connected to each other. The server obtains role information from each terminal; sets a terminal among the multiple terminals to operate as a relay server for relaying revision information about collaborative work data, on the basis of the obtained role information; instructs the terminal that has been set as the relay server to accept connections from the other terminals; reports the address information of the terminal set as the relay server to the other terminals; and instructs the other terminals to connect to that set terminal. Each terminal provides its role information to the server. The terminal that has been set as the relay server accepts the connections from the other terminals, and sets the server and the other terminals as the transmission destination for the revision information. The other terminals connect to the terminal that has been set as the relay server, and set that terminal as the transmission destination for the revision information.
