Abstract:
A colon straightening apparatus according to an embodiment is installed in an endoscope to straighten a colon by translation and expansion movements in the colon and may comprise: a ring-shaped proximal member which is installed to surround the outer circumferential surface of an insertion tube of the endoscope; a fixed end which is secured to the insertion tube; a ring-shaped distal member which is positioned between the proximal member and the fixed end and is movably installed along the longitudinal direction of the insertion tube; and an elastic member which is connected between the fixed end and the distal member.
