Abstract:
The present invention is a color correspondence information generation system that generates, from a first image in which a first object has been captured under a light source environment, color correspondence information indicating the correspondence relationship between color information and color characteristic information indicating a characteristic of a color of the color information. The color correspondence information generation system comprises: an object database storing recognition information for recognizing each of a plurality of prescribed first objects in association with color characteristic information of the objects indicated by the recognition information; an object recognition unit that recognizes one of the first objects in a first image, and outputs the image region of said first object in the first image and first color characteristic information, which is the color characteristic information corresponding to said first object; and a color correspondence information generation unit that generates, from color information of pixels included in the image region and the first color characteristic information, color correspondence information, which is the correspondence relationship between the color information and the color characteristic information. The color characteristic information has a one-to-one correspondence relationship with the recognition information, or the color characteristic information is the recognition information itself.
