Abstract:
A color imaging element represented by a color filter array comprising an array pattern which repeats in both the horizontal direction and the vertical direction and in which the five pixels in the center and four corners of a 3x3 pixel group have a green color filter, two pixels out of the four pixels other than said five pixels have a red color filter, and the remaining two pixels have a blue color filter. In pixel groups within a prescribed region of the color imaging element, a phase difference detection pixel (X, Y) is provided in all of either the horizontal direction components or the vertical direction components.
