Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a robust color measuring method and the like with which color estimation accuracy does not vary readily, in a color measuring method based on image data obtained by imaging a measurement target using a camera. This color measuring method includes: a step of acquiring, on the basis of image data of an image in which at least two color samples and a measurement target appear, color sample actual measured values for the two or more color samples, and a measurement target actual measured value representing a color in the image of the measurement target; a step of acquiring color sample reference values for the at least two color samples; a step of acquiring a correlation corresponding to a color gamut to which the color of the measurement target belongs, between the color sample actual measured values of the at least two color samples and the color sample reference values; and a step of calculating a measurement target estimated value, which is an estimated value of the color of the measurement target, by using the correlation to correct the measurement target actual measured value.
