Abstract:
Disclosed are a color modulation method and apparatus for a display, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The color modulation method comprises: acquiring original RGB data of picture pixel points (S102); calling a display lookup table, and determining whether mapped RGB data corresponding to the original RGB data is present in the display lookup table (S104); if the mapped RGB data corresponding to the original RGB data is present in the display lookup table, performing picture color modulation by using the mapped RGB data corresponding to the original RGB data (S106); and if the mapped RGB data corresponding to the original RGB data is not present in the display lookup table, using the original RGB data, multiple groups of selected RGB data, and mapped RGB data corresponding to each group of selected RGB data, and combining a predetermined interpolation algorithm to calculate the mapped RGB data corresponding to the original RGB data, and then using the obtained mapped RGB data to perform picture color modulation (S108). By means of the color modulation method, resources occupied by hardware are reduced, and the cost is reduced.
