Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a colored composition with which a light absorption anisotropic film that maintains an excellent dichroic ratio and has good pressing resistance can be formed, as well as providing a light absorption anisotropic film, a laminate, and an image display device that use the colored composition. The colored composition according to the present invention comprises: a polymer compound having a repeating unit that includes a crosslinking group and a mesogenic group in the same side chain, or a polymer compound having separately a repeating unit that includes a crosslinking group in the side chain and a repeating unit that includes a mesogenic group in the side chain; and a dichroic dye compound.
