Abstract:
The invention relates to a colored resin composition for a color filter, comprising a color material compound represented by formula (1) (wherein R1 to R6 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a C1-C30 alkyl group, an aryl group, a halogen atom, or an amino group, Y represents a sulfur atom, an oxygen atom, an amino group, a substituted or unsubstituted carbon atom, R1 and R2, R2 and R3, R3 and a carbon atom of Y, or R4 and R5 may independently or simultaneously form an aliphatic saturated hydrocarbon or aromatic cyclic structure, an anionic moiety X- represents a halogeno-C1-C10 alkylsulfonylimide anion, a halogeno-C1-C10 alkylsulfonylmethide anion, or a halogeno-C1-C10 alkylsulfonate anion, and the number of substituted halogen atoms in each halogeno-C1-C10 alkyl is at least 3), a binder resin, a solvent, a polymerization initiator, and a curing agent, and also relates to a color filter having a layer of a cured material of the composition. The color filter has higher heat resistance than conventional dye-based color filters and also can achieve a higher contrast ratio than pigment-based color filters.
