Abstract:

Provided are: a coloring composition which is capable of forming a cured film having excellent decoloration properties or the like, and which is not likely to cause warping of a substrate to which the coloring composition is applied; a cured film which uses this coloring composition; a color filter; a pattern forming method; a method for producing a color filter; a solid-state imaging element; and an image display device. A coloring composition containing a coloring agent and a resin, wherein: the content of the coloring agent relative to the total solid content of the coloring composition is 60% by mass or more; the resin contains at least a siloxane resin that contains Si-OH bonds and Si-OR1 bonds in an amount of 0.2-1.0 bond in total per one silicon atom; and the content of the siloxane resin relative to the total solid content of the coloring composition is 1-20% by mass. In this connection, R1 represents an alkyl group or an aryl group.
