Abstract:
Provided is a coloring composition that contains: a coloring agent containing an isoindolin pigment; a compound represented by formula (1); a resin; and a solvent. Also provided are: a film using the coloring composition; an optical filter; a solid-state imaging element; and an image display device. The compound is represented by formula (1). In formula (1), X1 denotes N or CR8, and R1 to R9 each independently denote a hydrogen atom or a substituent group. At least one of R1 to R9 has an acidic group or a basic group. Two or more of R1 to R8 may bond to each other to form a ring.
