Abstract:

Provided are: a coloring composition comprising a water-soluble xanthene compound and a compound represented by general formula (A); an inkjet recording ink; and an inkjet recording method. In formula (A), Q represents a benzene ring or a naphthalene ring; P1 represents –CO2M or –SO3M; Ra1 represents a substituent; Ra2, Ra3, and Ra4 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent; na represents an integer from 0 to 3; if na is 2 or larger, a plurality of Ra1 may be the same or different from each other; and M represents a countercation.
