Abstract:
A coloring-material dispersion comprising: a coloring material that is a salt-forming compound of an organic dye and a heteropolyacid; a dispersant; and a solvent. The organic dye is at least one organic dye selected from the group consisting of porphyrin-based dyes, tetraazaporphyrin-based dyes, phthalocyanine-based dyes, and squarylium-based dyes. The heteropolyacid has an oxidation-reduction potential greater than -0.3 V with respect to a silver/silver chloride electrode.
