Abstract:
A combination air conditioner/clothes dryer and a control method thereof. The air conditioner/clothes dryer comprises a compressor, a four-way valve, an indoor clothes dryer heat exchanger and an indoor air conditioner heat exchanger connected in parallel, a throttle device, and an outdoor heat exchanger. The four-way valve is sequentially connected by refrigerant pipes to form a refrigerant circuit. The indoor clothes dryer heat exchanger is connected to the four-way valve by a first electronic valve. The indoor air conditioner heat exchanger is connected to the four-way valve by a second electronic valve. The indoor clothes dryer heat exchanger is connected to the throttling device by a fourth electronic valve. The indoor air conditioner heat exchanger is connected to the throttling device by a third electronic valve. A controller is used to control, according to a startup sequence or priority of an indoor air conditioner and an indoor clothes dryer, opening and closing and the degree of opening of the first electronic valve, the second electronic valve, the third electronic valve, and the fourth electronic valve. The combined air conditioner/clothes dryer can control operation of the indoor clothes dryer and the indoor air conditioner according to the urgency of user needs and can meet requirements of rapidly adjusting indoor temperatures or rapidly drying clothes.
