Abstract:
The amount of grain stored in a grain tank is found, and control is performed to reduce the amount of grain discharged based on the resulting grain amount. A feed sensor detects the amount of grain being delivered from a feed duct to the grain tank (feed amount). A discharge amount sensor detects the amount of grain being discharged from a dust exhauster and an exhaust air path (amount of loss). Control is performed to decrease the amount of loss based on the detected feed amount. For example, the amount of grain discharged from a thresher is compared with a specified amount of grain harvested per a prescribed time and the amount of dust inside the thresher, and control is performed to reduce the amount of loss according to the resulting ratios and the amount of grain discharged from the thresher.
