Combustion kit meant mainly as a source of energy in ovens, fire places and open fires.
Currently there is available chopped fire wood packed into bunches. The bunches are opened and the wood is put in the fire place.
The problem with the current bunches is that they are large to be carried along and bits of wood come off the wood easily, hence making the surroundings untidy. Also, the wood has to be put in the fire by hand.
With the help of the invented combustion kit, the above mentioned problems are avoided. The attached protection claim presents its characteristics.
One of the greatest benefits of the invention is that the kit is easy to carry, does not make the surroundings untidy and its use is extremely easy now that there is no need to load the wood into the fire by hand. The kit is mainly made of recycled material, and consequently natural resources are not wasted. Hence the kit is a cheap source of energy compared to the bunches used now. The energy is more compact in the kit than in fire wood.
In the following the invention is explained with references to the attached figures, in which
Figure 1 is the invented combustion kit seen diagonally from above.
Figure 2 is the invented combustion kit seen from the side.
Figure 3 is the invented combustion kit seen directly from above.
Figure 4 is the invented combustion kit as a drawing seen diagonally from above.
The figure 1 shows the outside layer of the kit . It can be made of cardboard or other similar material . The outside layer 1 is shaped so that when folded into the kit, there is a handle 3 on top of it.
Figures 2 and 3 present a piece of combustion material 2 which is made of fibre wood 5 which is treated with vegetable oil and paraffin. The combustion material 2 can be cheapest manufactured by cutting a suitably sized pieces of the fibre wood 5 which are then soaked in a liquid mixture of vegetable oil and paraffin. Then the pieces are taken out of the mixture after which they are compiled into a suitably sized piece of combustion material 2 in which suitably sized combustion channels 4 are left. The vegetable oil used can be oil used in industrial kitchens, restaurants, grills, etc. which has been taken up until now to
the waste dump. The paraffin makes the mixture more solid. Fire channel 4 makes the combustion easier and burning more even. There can be just one channel or more. In figures 2 and 3 there are two channels.
Figure 4 presents the outer layer folded out of cardboard so that there is a handle 3 on top of it . A piece of burning material 2 has been placed inside the outside layer 1. The piece of combustion material 2 has fire channels 4 on a short and long side. The piece of combustion material 2 is made of fibre wood 5 cut into rectangles treated in the above mentioned way. The pieces are put together and they form the piece of combustion material 2.
The combustion kit works as follows, the combustion kit is put into the fire side with the outside layer 1 is opened by the handle 3 by turning the handles to the side. The piece of combustion material 2 shows now and fire channel 4 should be in vertical position. The kit is lighted in the middle of the fire channel 4 with, e.g. a match. The kit burns evenly and the time of combustion depends on the amount of draught.
The invention is not limited into the above described form but many variations of it are possible as long as the claim for protection is not violated. Variations include the shape of the outside layer being different, and the piece of
combustion material being made of other parts of fibre wood, e.g. chips or saw dust.
