Abstract:
A combustion-status evaluation method according to the present invention includes a creation step, a split step, a flame determination step, first to third calculation steps, a state determination step, and an evaluation step. In the creation step, a 3D visible image of a flame and waste in a dry part is created. In the split step, the waste in the 3D visible image is mesh-split into a plurality of elements. In the flame determination step, whether a flame has been generated from the waste is determined for each of the elements. In the first to third calculation steps, the thickness of the waste, the surface movement speed of the waste, thickness progress information, and volumetric-flow-rate progress information are calculated for each of the elements. In the state determination step, the volumetric-flow-rate progress information is analyzed to determine, for each of the elements, whether the waste is in a combustion startable state. In the evaluation step, a combustion-start evaluated position is identified on the basis of determination results from the flame determination step and the state determination step.
