Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an advantageous technique for timely providing play-by-play comments in accordance with the status of an event recorded in subject video data, along with the video. [Solution] A comment generation device comprises: a history meta information acquisition unit that analyzes subject video data, and acquires history meta information associated with a subject event recorded in the subject video data; and a live play-by-play determination unit that acquires play-by-play category meta information of the subject on the basis of the history meta information, and determines play-by-play comments for the subject corresponding to the play-by-play category meta information of the subject. The history meta information includes past event meta information and play-by-play category meta information associated with an event status before a time point at which the subject play-by-play comments are associated in the subject event. The event meta information is meta information related to the status of the subject event, and the play-by-play category meta information is meta information related to the category of the play-by-play comments.
