Abstract:
Provided is a common mode noise filter with which it is possible to improve an attenuation characteristic with respect to common mode noise in a wide frequency region. The common mode noise filter of the present disclosure is provided with: a magnetic material portion (11) and a magnetic material portion (12) which are configured from a magnetic material; and a non-magnetic material portion (13) which is sandwiched between the magnetic material portion (11) and the magnetic material portion (12) in a stacking direction and is configured from a non-magnetic material. The common mode noise filter is further provided with: a coil (14) and a coil (15) which are disposed in the non-magnetic material portion (13) and are opposed to each other; and a metal layer (16) which is formed in at least one of the magnetic material portion (11) and the magnetic material portion (12), and is connected to ground. The metal layer (16) is positioned closer to a lower surface rather than an upper surface of the magnetic material portion (11), and closer to an upper surface rather than a lower surface of the magnetic material portion (12).
