Abstract:
A communication apparatus and a method for controlling the communication apparatus
capable of readily notifying the status of a schedule registrant related to a
schedule for which a registration has been accepted from another communication
apparatus. A communication apparatus (1b) can accept a schedule registration
from a communication apparatus (1a) via a communication line. The communication
apparatus (1b) associates notification contents with the date and time specified
by a schedule data (Dsc) received from the communication apparatus (1a), thereby
executing the schedule registration (Step S2). When the present time reaches
the specified date and time of the schedule registration, the communication
apparatus (1b) notifies the notification contents (Step S3). Then, after starting
the schedule notification, the communication apparatus (1b) records ambient
sounds, images and so on, and automatically transmits, as a reply data (Dre),
such recorded data to the communication apparatus (1a) (Step S4).
