Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a communication apparatus with which a plurality of communication systems can be employed on a single device without interference between the respective communications, and which has improved operability with regard to communications performed by a user. [Solution] The communication apparatus is provided with: at least one antenna which sends and receives signals by means of a radio communication system; and two electrodes which employ a potential difference between the electrodes to send and receive signals by means of a mediated communication system, in which communication occurs by way of a communication medium capable of transmitting an electrical signal. At least one of the antennas is a loop antenna, and at least one of the two electrodes, disposed in close proximity to the loop antenna, is formed from a material having a low electrical conductivity.
