Abstract:
A communication device PLCM comprises: a parent station 15; a ring-type transmission path 9 in which a start point T_s and an end point T_e are connected; and a plurality of child stations 7_1 to 7_3 which are connected to the ring-type transmission path in parallel. The parent station transmits signals and supplies power from both the start point and the end point of the ring-type transmission path. Each of the plurality of child stations is provided with an impedance varying element 5, the elements being connected to the ring-type transmission path in parallel. The values of the impedance varying elements are set in accordance with the connection positions CN_1 to CN_3 of the child stations.
