Abstract:
A communication device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure is in a communication system in which multi-hop communication is performed, and comprises: a detection unit that detects that a master device in the communication system is in a communication-disabled state; and a determination unit that, when the master device is in the communication-disabled state, determines whether the communication device is to serve as a surrogate master device, on the basis of the position of the communication device in a relay route in the communication system.
