Abstract:
[Problem] To make it possible that in a case where a plurality of communication units are used for radio communications, a diagnosis of operation of each communication unit is carried out in a more suitable manner. [Solution] A communication device is provided with: a plurality of communication units each of which communicates with another communication device via a radio communication path; a casing that supports the plurality of communication units such that the plurality of communication units receive respective radio signals coming from relatively mutually different directions; and a communication control unit that controls the respective operations of the plurality of communication units, wherein the communication control unit performs the control such that the reception of the radio signal by that one of the plurality of communication units which is of interest is given priority, and the communication control unit then controls execution of a process related to a diagnosis of that communication unit on the basis of a result of that reception.
