Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a mechanism that enables flexible design with respect to the timing of communications. [Solution] This communication device comprises: a communication control unit that controls the transmission of a first channel and the reception of a second channel or vice versa, the first channel being transmitted in a first direction, and the second channel being a channel that corresponds to the first channel and that is transmitted in a second direction opposing the first direction; and a setting unit which sets the control mode by the communication control unit to a first mode or a second mode. The communication control unit transmits and receives the first channel and the second channel in different subframes in the first mode, and transmits and receives the first channel and the second channel within the same subframe in the second mode.
