Abstract:
The present technology relates to a communication device and a communication method that make it possible to identify, at an earlier stage, data requiring retransmission. This communication device comprises a control unit that performs control to: exchange a frame with another communication device by wireless communication using a plurality of links; use a second link to transmit a data confirmation response request frame when a first link is used to transmit a data frame including aggregated data; and receive, from the other communication device that received the data frame, a confirmation response frame corresponding to the confirmation response request frame. The present technology is applicable to, for example, a communication device constituting a wireless LAN system.
