Abstract:
A communication device (10) synchronizes time with an opposing device (1, 2) by transmission and reception of a time synchronization signal corresponding to one profile of a plurality of profiles, the communication device comprising an identification unit (12) that identifies the profile used by the opposing device (1, 2) on the basis of information pertaining to the transmission and reception of the time synchronization signal and a type of the time synchronization corresponding to the one profile of the plurality of profiles included in the time synchronization signal obtained from the opposing device (1, 2).
