Abstract:

This communication device comprises a processing unit and a communication unit. The communication unit communicates with one or more slaves. The processing unit has a function for executing a communication process and a setting process. The communication process involves causing the communication unit to transmit a frame containing primary data to the one or more slaves in a first cycle. The setting process involves setting N (N is an integer greater than or equal to 2) second cycles within the first cycle. The setting process involves setting a slot in which communication of secondary data other than the primary data takes place for each second cycle. The frame has at least one slot in a transmission period for the main data.
