Abstract:
The objective of the invention is to provide a communication line quality estimation apparatus that can implement communication line quality estimation with a simple processing and with a high degree of precision. A communication line quality estimation apparatus of a receiver, which receives, from a transmitter, signals including known signals for which the relationship in phase between the transmitter and the receiver is known, comprises: a pilot addition unit (40), a first power calculation unit (41) and a first averaging unit (42) that accumulatively add and average the power values of noise components obtained by addition or subtraction in a specified combination of the known signals; a second power calculation unit (43) and a second averaging unit (44) that accumulatively add and average the power values of the known signals; and a power ratio calculation unit (45) that estimates a communication line quality by use of a noise signal power value received from the first averaging unit (42) and a received signal power value received from the second averaging unit (44).
